Straits Times Index constituents August 2017 performance

August 2017, STI down 52.26 points or 1.57% lower to close at 3277.26.

July 2017 STI was up 103.04 points or 3.19% from June to close at 3329.52. Straits Times Index lost half of July gains in August.

Winners: In pole position, Capitaland followed by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.
Losers: At the bottom, worst performers are Sembcorp Industries followed by Singtel.

As a note, we published a Sembcorp Industries feature on 07 August which spotted a sell setup with our HABBSTS stock system.

Market breadth: 9 stocks advance, 19 decline.
