The dollar index is made up of a basket of 6 currencies:
- Euro – 57.6%
- Japanese Yen – 13.6%
- Sterling Pound – 11.9%
- Canadian Dollar – 9.1%
- Swedish Krona – 4.2%
- Swiss Franc – 3.6%
The current weight was fixed since 1999.
Attached is a chart of the Dollar Index (DX). Its direction is unclear but a more definitive picture should be available in a couple of days only.
